A new megacity in Gujarat

If there is one thing that Gujarat does not have is a Metropolis like Mumbai - the commercial capital of India. With visionary planning, government will and corporate support, Gujarat should aim to create a brand new megacity.

Everything about this city should be best-in-the-country and provide all that Mumbai fails to provide its citizens such as -
  • Superb transportation infrastructure, good sanitation standards
  • Affordable living spaces - Planned housing clusters
  • A tolerant attitude towards global citizens - regardless of language, culture, cast etc.
  • Safety, corruption-free administration
  • Educational, healthcare and recreational facilities

Know your country / traditions

Most students outside India go on a full/part gap year, where they travel in different countries, sometimes coupled with small work assignments/jobs in new places, meet new people, understand new culture.

It would be really great if Government of India/Gujarat can create tailor-made packages for such students, coupled with paid work assignments in various areas. For students from overseas, it would be a fantastic opportunity to know their ancestor's place, will give them a strong appreciation of their own culture, food, festivals and life in general. For the host state, apart from some foreign exchange earnings, it will provide them with life-long ambassadors and investors in years to follow.

Can a bug be bugged?

Imagine a scenario where a bacteria has caught fever as its been infected by a virus or has got an allergy.

Imagine if UK's bugs catch cold when they come to India...and they die..leaving the person healthier..!

Weird...isn't it??

Funding for Jain temples/initiatives

Jain community has many philanthropists, and many more normal people who do not have a lot of money but still would like to contribute to religious initiatives.

A good way to raise funds would be to ask people to give donations, as a part of their 'Will', towards particular causes which they support. This will ensure that their money is with them, if required, while they are alive, and gives them the satisfaction of having contributed and being useful to society and community. Normally, wealth of such people pass on to their heirs. However, a person could choose to endow part of the wealth to some such causes.
